Installation Steps

    Check compatibility

    Verify your phone supports eSIM on our compatibility checker page. Not all Android phones support eSIM.

    Purchase your eSIM

    Browse destinations and select a plan. Complete checkout.

    Save the QR code

    Open the activation email and save the QR code image to your gallery.

  4. 4

    Find eSIM settings

    The path varies by brand: Settings → Network/Connections → SIM → Add eSIM. Common locations: "SIM Manager", "Mobile Network", or "SIM & Network".

    Scan and activate

    Scan the QR code from your gallery, or enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code manually. Enable Data Roaming.

Is Your Phone Unlocked?

Your phone must be carrier-unlocked to use an eSIM from Roamaly. Here's how to check:

  1. 1.Check Settings → About Phone for carrier lock information
  2. 2.Contact your carrier to verify and request unlock if needed
  3. 3.Phones bought directly from manufacturers are often unlocked
Troubleshooting
  • Can't find eSIM option? Your phone model may not support eSIM — check our compatibility page.
  • Settings menu path differs by brand. Search "eSIM" or "SIM" in your Settings search bar.
  • If QR scan fails, use manual entry with the SM-DP+ address and activation code from your email.
  • Always connect to Wi-Fi before downloading an eSIM profile.
  • Restart your phone after installation if data doesn't connect immediately.
