iPhone (All Models) eSIM Guide

   Purchase your eSIM

   Browse destinations and select a plan. Complete checkout — your eSIM will be ready in seconds.

   Open the activation email

   Check your email for the activation details with QR code and direct install link.

   Install the eSIM

   Option A (iOS 17.4+): Tap the direct install link — no QR needed. Option B: Go to Settings → Mobile Service → Add eSIM → Use QR Code → scan the QR code.

   Configure your eSIM

   Label it "Travel". Set it as your data line. Keep your primary number for calls/texts.

   Enable Data Roaming

   Settings → Mobile Service → your eSIM → Data Roaming → On. Your eSIM activates at your destination.

Your phone must be carrier-unlocked to use an eSIM from Roamaly. Here's how to check:

1. 1.Go to Settings → General → About
2. 2.Look for "Carrier Lock" — should say "No SIM restrictions"
3. 3.If locked, contact your carrier to unlock

• •Restart your iPhone if the eSIM doesn't appear after installation.
• •Enable Data Roaming for the travel eSIM line specifically.
• •If QR won't scan, use the direct install link or enter the SM-DP+ address manually.
• •"Cannot add eSIM" means your phone may be carrier-locked.
